Chord Snacks JVD

Chord Snacks are compact sample packs focussed on a specific hardware synth.

The Pack

The JVD pack features chord samples from a famous vintage JV unit with the Dance expansion board installed. Featuring 72 sounds in major and minor chords, with long and short variations for 200 total samples.

The Sounds

Chunky 90s house pianos, smooth analog synths, rich silky strings and mellow pads. All you need to add some vintage 90s hardware texture to your tracks.

The Process

Chords are sampled direct from vintage and modern hardware synths with extra analog processing for added fatness, including Elektron Analog Heat, DIYRE Colour Duo, Alesis 3630, Aphex Easyrider and classic Mackie preamps/EQ. Effects provided by Alesis MIDIverb II, Lexicon reverbs and custom Korg NTS-1 algorithms.

The Samples

Delivered as stereo 44.1kHz WAV files - 24-bit for use in DAWs and 16-bit for use on the Akai MPC.
